Ivanovic sets up Robson clash in Tokyo

Ana Ivanovic set up a second-round encounter with Britain's Laura Robson at WTA Tokyo after she defeated Anastasia Rodionova of Australia in straight sets.
Ana Ivanovic Tokyo - 0
Ivanovic took a competitive opening set 6-4 with a single break of serve proving decisive as the Serb stamped her authority on the match in an assured manner.
Rodionova appeared to lose all semblance of belief and concentration after losing the first set, and the Australian was promptly bagelled in the second, 6-0 as the 12th seed stepped up her intensity.
It was an emphatic way for Ivanovic to seal victory, and the world number 20 will next face Robson, who sealed a straight-sets victory over Alexandra Dulgheru of Romania on Sunday.
The 17-year-old Robson looked hugely impressive in disposing of Dulgheru, but will face a much sterner test against the talented Serb, currently coached by Britain's Nigel Sears.
Meanwhile, Maria Sharapova battled past Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn to take her place in the third round after having been handed a bye through to the second with a 6-2 7-5 victory.
Sharapova was utterly clinical as she controlled the match without dominating it, and Tanasugarn fought fiercely to remain in contention but never looked likely to upset the Russian.
